Youth and Children

For more information about any of the children's and young people's groups that meet during the week contact Sharon Stirman, our Children, Families and Youth Minister.

Bible Eager Explorers - Bees

BEEs is for all children aged 3 to 14 (end of Year 9), every Sunday morning during term time. It takes place in the Parish Centre from 10.30 - 11.45am, starting in the church service. The first Sunday of every month is All-Age Family Worship with children being included and participating in the service.

The BEEs have a lot of fun learning stories and lessons from the bible in new and exciting ways and, of course, share a drink and snack!

Every Person in Christ - EPIC

EPIC is our Sunday evening youth meeting for 11-18 year olds (Year 7 and above), that takes place in the youth area within the church. At EPIC we take time to pray and learn more about the Bible and God, as well as sharing fun, games and fellowship in our comfortable space. Every Sunday 6:00 to 7:00pm, except the first Sunday of the month.

We study the Bible passage looked at in the main 10:30am service and through discussion and activities, learn about the context, the main ideas and how they fit into today's modern world.

EPIC members are encouraged to come to the 10.30 service every week, but especially on the first Sunday of the month, which is All Age.

Under 5s Playtime

Every Thursday during term time, from 9:30am - 11:00am we have our Under 5s Playtime in the Parish Centre for pre-school children (ages 0-5) and their parents, grandparents or carers.

Do you need a time to relax and have a cup of tea whilst the children play? Come and join us at St Michael's Under 5s. There are toys suitable for children aged 0-5 and a simple craft activity join in with. For the last 15 minutes we sing songs and read a story together.

Contact Jean Hook or Sharon for further details.
