We are glad that you have chosen to look at St Michael and All Angels church and hope that you will visit us soon. The church has been in
existence in Wilmington since Saxon times but we believe that the message
of Jesus Christ is as relevant today as it ever was.
St. Michael's is a lively church with a vision to be a growing and supportive Church at the heart of the Parish of Wilmington. We aim to grow across generations and for our church to be welcoming to all. A church to encounter God, where personal faith can grow and flourish. Our mission work aims to encompass local, Diocesan, national and international communities and to serve through prayer, pastoral support, practical help and financial aid.
There are many aspects to our life at St Michael's but our Sunday gatherings are at the heart of all we do. Details of our Sunday services, and activities for children and young people can be found on this site. Bible teaching is central to our meeting together because we believe the Bible to be God's means of building up and equipping His Church.
As well as meeting on Sundays, many of our members also get together during the
week in House Groups for friendship, bible study and mutual support.
For all our weaknesses - which are many - our conviction is that the local church is the
hope of the world because Jesus Christ is at it's centre.
Coffee Stop: Every Tuesday morning from 10 to 12 in the Parish Centre.
