Volunteering
Youth Assistant
Are you passionate about guiding and inspiring the next generation? As a Church Youth Volunteer, you'll play a vital role in supporting our youth ministry by helping to lead activities, build relationships with young people, and create a safe, welcoming environment for spiritual growth and fun. This role may involve assisting with youth activities, Sunday sessions or special events.
No formal experience is required—just a heart for young people, a willingness to serve, and a commitment to our church’s values. A DBS check is required for this role. All training and support will be provided.

Welcome Team
We are looking for warm, friendly, and reliable individuals to join our Welcome Team. As the first point of contact on a Sunday or at special services, you’ll play a key role in offering a warm welcome to all who enter our church. Responsibilities include greeting attendees, handing out service sheets, helping with seating, taking the collection, and assisting with communion as needed. Most importantly, you help create an atmosphere of hospitality and care.
If you have a heart for people and enjoy making others feel at home, we would love to welcome you to the team. Training and support are provided, and your service will make a real difference in our worshipping community.

Audio-Visual Tech Team Member
We’re looking for practical and willing volunteers to join our Audio-Visual Tech Team to assist in the gallery during services. This is generally on a Sunday morning, but also at special events and services at other points in the year. Responsibilities include running the computer to support the leader with the slide show during the service, or using the sound desk to ensure that the leader, readings, prayers and other sound requirements are met.
No previous experience is required, although an understanding of computers and Google drive would be useful. Training will be provided.

Cleaning and Maintenance
We’re looking for practical and willing volunteers to join our Cleaning and Maintenance Team. Your help is essential in keeping our church building clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone. Tasks may include general cleaning, light maintenance, gardening, setting up spaces for events, and occasional repairs. Whether you can offer a regular commitment or help occasionally, your time and effort will be truly appreciated.
If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in caring for shared spaces, this is a great way to serve the church community. No specialist skills are needed—just a helpful attitude and a heart to serve. All tools and guidance will be provided.

Tea and Coffee Server on Sundays or at Coffee-Pop-In on a Tuesday
The Tea and Coffee Rota Team is responsible for ensuring a fair and consistent rotation of tea and coffee making duties within the church. The rota helps promote a shared responsibility for refreshments and contributes to a positive and collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow a scheduled rota to prepare tea and coffee following the 10.30 service or at Pop-In
- Ensure when supplies (tea, coffee, sugar, cups, etc.) are running low you inform the team leader.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the refreshment area.
- Communicate any changes or swaps in the rota clearly to the team.
- Respect personal preferences or dietary requirements where known.
Goals:
- Encourage teamwork and mutual support.
- Share the workload fairly.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere through small acts of consideration.
